Human Revolution Orchestra. Playing a special concert as part of the UNESCO world Jazz day.
We have been rehearsing hard and we are so looking forward to tomorrow nights gig Thur 30th April at the Union Chapel London, doors 7pm. Its such an honour to be able to play with the incredible musician that is Robin Eubanks. Absolutety jaw dropping beautiful ‘tromboning’ and not forgetting all the other wonderful musicians taking part. If you have a ticket for tomorrow you are in for a real treat. Well done also to Sean Corby for realising this.
So as part of the UNESCO International Jazz Day, SGI-UK will host a concert Ode to the Human Spirit. It will feature The Human Revolution Orchetsra and special guest, internationally renowned jazz trombonist and composer Robin Eubanks. Find out more about this unique day at Union Chapel
I’m really quite chuffed to be taking part in this event, playing not only with stella Uk jazz colleagues but also long time trombone hero Robin Eubanks. We will be playing a mixture of Robin’s charts as well as those from members of the HRO.

For those of you around in London on Wednesday 21st May, I’m in at the deep end in the Gareth Lockrane big band.
I shall be playing some low tones on Bass Trombone and Tuba amongst other notes, in this very talented flautist/composer’s big band.
